One of the nicest evenings we've spent in the last few months was a Dhow cruise just in the bay in Doha.
The entertainment committee on staff did a terrific job of organizing an evening cruise in early November. It was perfect timing as the weather was finally breaking and you get could actually sit outside and not be cooking or sweating.
It was one of those lovely nights with gentle zephyr wafting over everyone.
Kids were there, and I had forgotten how much little kids love boats... It was fun to watch
Aside from just sitting and talking with everyone,
it was nice to get a look at our new city from a different perspective.
Qatar has a very unique skyline with cutting edge architecture and to see it from the sea is quite striking...
At the mid point we anchored of a by in the island and jumped off the roof into the sea. There were front rolls and back flips galore, I was happy to sit back any photograph it.
A magical night, looking forward to the next cruise.
